Who I am
This website is run by Aaron Evans, trading as AE Hospitality, based in Aberdeenshire. If you have a question about your information, email aaron@aehospitality.co.uk.
What I collect
When you send an enquiry: your name, business, email, phone number if you give it, and your message. I use it to reply to you and, if we work together, to deliver the work.
When you ask a calculator to email you: your email address and the figures you entered, so I can send them to you. I may follow up once about them. You can tell me not to.
When you use a calculator: the figures you enter are recorded anonymously, with no name or email attached, so I can see which tools are used and understand typical margins across the trade.
Website statistics: I count visits and pages viewed using privacy friendly analytics hosted on my own server. It does not use cookies or track you across other websites.
What this site stores on your device
The site remembers a small amount on your own device so it works better for you: the figures you last entered in a calculator, so they are there when you come back, and where you first found the site, so that if you later send an enquiry I know which posts or pages are useful. Nothing is shared with advertisers. You can clear the calculator figures with the "Clear them" link, or clear all of it in your browser settings.
Who else sees it
No one, apart from the services that make the site work: the company that hosts the website and handles the forms, and my own server for statistics. I don't sell or share your information.
How long I keep it
Enquiries and emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with them, and for clients as long as the law requires for business records. Anonymous calculator figures and statistics are kept because they identify no one.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how it is used. Email aaron@aehospitality.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
